Hey! We're still working. English version is coming soon, don't worry!

The Altos del Lircay National Reserve is located in the deepest zone of the Maule region in Chile,
42 miles from the city of Talca, in the little town of Vilches Alto. It was created in 1996.

The 30.043-acre reserve is home to century-old native forests, composed of trees like robles (oak trees), lenga (nothofagus pumilio), and coigüe. The reserve is also the home of several large volcanoes including the two Descabezados and Quizapu (which recorded the biggest eruption in Chilean history).
From large mountain lakes, fresh spring water flows in rivers like Blanquillo and Lircay, running through some of the most impressive landscape you can find.
In the reserve lives an extraordinary fauna and flora: thousands of different amazing flowers, insects, and animals...

Many of them are unique, and they are impossible to see in places other than the reserve.

This web site will give you all you need to know: How to go, where to go, how much to pay,
and all you can find on the reserve (we hope so).

And now, we give you our most enthusiastic invitation to discover Altos del Lircay and its wonders...

See you there!
